I feel like this book was too slow paced for me to where I felt like I was just waiting for something to happen, which only happened in maybe the last 50 pages or so. Definitely very well written, but it both felt very solemn and felt like I read nothing

They Never Learn by Layne Fargo

Did not finish book. Stopped at 47%.
When every character is not like other girls but is actually exactly like every other girl... literally horrible characterization with plot twists that were so ridiculously unlikely and bizarre that I scoffed aloud

I had such high hopes because the concept of exploring female rage and sexual assault in an academic setting sounded so intriguing, but the poor writing and characterization really just made this book a flop
