so so so amazing. i was nervous to read this book since it is a bit different than the contemporary and fantasy romance that i usually read. but reading the Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo was so refreshing. it really made me think about right versus wrong and how that can be mixed up. towards the end of the book it got really emotional and i struggled to keep it together. i’m really curious as to where Reid got the inspiration for this book, since it has a very complicated plot. i’m very glad that i read this book, i recommend! 5/5 ⭐️
the first flawless book i’ve read in a while. the writing was amazing and really drew me in. the story was very sad but also relatable to how lonely it is in your mind. 5/5⭐️
this book felt like I was reading text messages between me and my friends… It was very comfortable to read and made me feel accepted. I like the topics that were talked about and the storyline was good. Plus the inclusion both gender and sexuality was amazing. 5/5⭐️
This was an enjoyable read for me, but it was very drawn out and long. I was in a reading slump and trying to get through this 600+ page book did not help. I love the characters but couldn’t really follow along with the plot. 3/5 ⭐️
I really enjoyed reading acotar. I was nervous at first because of all the bad reviews, but the actual book was not bad at all. The plot was interesting and it kept me engaged. There was not much world-building which made it easy to follow along. This was a relief because most high fantasy books are mainly boring world-building. I didn’t necessarily like Feyre’s character; I found her to be dumb and a bit selfish after she left her family. But, that is understandable since she took care of them so much. The only thing I disliked was the spacing of the plot. Feyre spent too much time in Tamlin’s manor. And the ending went by so fast. However, overall, it was an enjoyable read and I will be continuing the series. 4.5/5 ⭐️
This was a very interesting read. I never got bored with it and genuinely enjoyed the plot and characters interactions. There was good action and tension. I liked reading this, although it did take me a week to get through since it’s a thick book. It interesting to see how Cassandra Clare is intertwining the romance with the plot. I’m excited to know what happens next! 4.5/5⭐️ Cons: I gave it 4.5 stars because I feel like Cassandra Clare packed all the action into the end. Nothing super excited happened throughout the beginning/middle
I absolutely loved reading The Song of Achilles. I do not know much about Greek Mythology/history and I still enjoyed this book very much. The writing was enticing and made me want to jump in the book and become part of the story. The plot and characters were so interesting and I wasn’t bored for a second. I was nervous at first to read a historical fiction book, but I was not disappointed. I plan to look into reading more of Madeline Miller. Definitely read this masterpiece. 5/5 ⭐️
