I've followed the author on Tiktok for a little while before the book came out.
I had to get it when she announced when the book was out on Amazon, so I did.

I absolutely loved the book.

It played with emotion, was fast paced, nothing I expected and was never disappointed.

I love 01's friendship together, and cannot wait to see how Bennett's relationship with Oliver and Darcy will be. (And Mary

I don't know whether I want to give it 3.5 or 4 stars,,,

I had some issues with cringing out on some scenes or sentences, i skipped two chapters 1 was boring, and 1 was just not my thing iykyk.
I loved the ending more than anything, I felt Olive's panicks and anxieties through out the book, gosh she was relatable.
Do I headcanon Olive to be neurodivergence? Absolutely.
Definitely one of the nicest books ive read this year!

☆ 3.5 stars ☆

Maybe 18 is a little old, but I didnt find this book 'scary' or give me chills in any way.
I loved Coraline and noticed the book is a LOT different than the movie I watched years ago.
I don't have much to say, but I very much enjoyed this book!

This book is.. how do I say this?
Chaotic, that's the perfect word.
I took many, long breaks before finishing the story, but only because I suck with attention– I'm not much of a reader I think.

This story was so beautifully written. It's chaotic in a good sense. I liked the storybuilding even tho it sometimes felt like it hit me in the face and I skipped sentences that didn't feel important.

I loved the main characters of the story and the ending left me quite curious. Cannot wait to read part 2

I rate this book a 4.5 (keeping it on 4 tho, might change it to a 5 in the future)

After I read Caraval I could barely wait to start Legendary and I finished it a lot faster than I would’ve imagined.
I liked that we got Donatella as mc instead os Scarlett and see the world through her eyes. The sisters are different, but both are incredibly skeptic of everything around them. I, personally, enjoyed this book a lot. I think I even liked it more than Caraval itself.

Donatella was a very interesting mc that I’ve grown to like, she was anxious and sassy and she’s just really cool. I enjoyed the small pieces of Scarlett during Legendary, but I was way too interested to see how this book would end.
I didn’t like how Scarlett’s romantic relationship went in this book, but I didn’t hate it either, I get
the take and I completely get Scarlett too, I just love that couple so much.

I liked seeing past characters in a different yet familiar view, the actors playing different characters, but through Donatella’s eyes who -obviously- already knew the characters more than Scarlett did.

No spoilers at all, just my opinion:
I enjoyed the ending. It felt a bit rushed, but in a way that it made sense. I would’ve loved a few pages more to really understand what was going on as it happened so fast, and it was over even quicker.
Not everything about the ending was great imo, but most of it felt satisfying and I’m excited to read the last part, which I know will be a duo POV.

An easy 5 stars for me!

I grew up with comics. I have a cabinet filled with older comics and bundles of comics. All of them in dutch, and I believe most of them are french comics or from belgium.
I have followed Michelle on my personal ig for a few years now and she mostly posts about life and the lessons it gives you. This book isn't too far from that but it did shift from mature content to a story for children.

The story was bright and lively and well.. exactly what I expected from a graphic novel like this one.

I read the story within an hour when it arrived and fell deeply in love with it.
The storytelling was floaty and quick and the chapters were drawn beautifully. I adore the art work so much.
I loved every character that got introduced (besides the teacher) especially Xavier. His character and story is incredibly interesting for a side character.

Even though this book is a lot like most children stories, I still adored how unique the worldbuilding and storytelling was,
I do think that it could've been slightly longer with more details about the world, but perhaps we'll get more of that in future parts.
I hope to not have to wait for part 2 too long :D

So, I watched this movie a little while back and instantly fell in love with it. This book was meant to be a movie. It truly became my favorite movie at the moment.
So, naturally, I just had to get the book, and I did. I even paused reading a series so I could read this one and it did not disappoint.

Obviously, the book is extremely different from the movie, which came as a shock to me, because why didn’t Alex have a sister in the movies??
I enjoyed reading scenes that were similar to the movie, but I enjoyed the new scenes way more. The friendship between the white house trio, Raphael Luna, and Henry’s mom.

The slight spice in the book wasn’t as annoying or uncomfortable as I thought it would be (like with some other books). I’m not a fan of spice, but it didn’t bother me as much as I thought it would.

I don’t really have much to say, besides that I like the book a lot and that I like the movie on it’s own more than as an adaptation, even though it was an amazing adaptation.
I will re-read this book many times in the future and I will enjoy it every time, I’m sure of it.

This book deserves a 5 star raiting.
