It was one of her best book yet in the Vampire Chronicles series. A lot of questions were answer, a lot of back story from each character was explained and the main character of Lestat became indeed the hero we were all waiting for him to be.

It is incredibly informative, and surprising on the fact that we don't take sleep more seriously. I definitely recommend it, but as an audio book, reading it can cause you to leave it halfway read, since the pace is very slow.

It was a challenging read, it is "hopeful" at the end, but the fact that the book was written in 2020 and zwe are five years in and nothing has changed leaves me with a sense of despair. It is of course eye-opening to all the things that contribute to Climate Change besides the ones we already knew about, but as mentioned in the book we as individual alone cannot solve the problem, we need corporations and governments to change their ways and no matter how many protests or boycotts or bad press we try to give them, they end up winning in the end.

Batman comics only get better with age. This special edition with author comments and how the illustrations were done make it even better. But the story most of all is great, we have a nice origin story and a deeper understanding of how the Joker views society, that in the world we live in at the moment is something really perplexing to think about, because he might not be wrong, even if the original story was written in the 80's.

Like his previous books, it sheds light on very logical matters, that because we are so entangled in the bustle and hustle of it all we don't stop to actually see. It opens our eyes to an array of topics and gives us a very grim look at the future, but also some hope on how to survive this impending doom.

I had never read the book and I must say even knowing the ending beforehand, the book is very good. It keeps you on your toes and you find yourself rooting for Romeo and Juliet eventhough doom is impending. I am glad I finally got around to read it.

For all the fuzz there was about this book I was quite disappointed. It has some good chapters but the plot was so easy, I knew by the middle of the book what was going to happen and who the "tormenter" was. The only interesting part was how the world of publishing works and of course the hell of social media and how they can praise or destroy people.
