started off really good, corny but 2014 cute. I didn’t really like the sign language rep, and hated all of the conflicts. By the end every misunderstanding started to piss me off. Especially bree.

First, Thank you to the publisher for this ARC 💐! Now, I really like this writing style, and the somewhat refreshing premise. The diverse set of characters felt real, and the look into filipino culture was wonderful. I really like this book until I didnt. I HATE third act break ups, especially when I feel like it could be solved with more open communication. I also wish that the five stages would have lasted the entire book and not have started off as a bet just authentic. I also wish their relationship had been even more of a slow burn. Overall I loved the core ideas of this book but the execution per my taste was not what I wanted. But I would love to see this as a RomCom!!!

I really liked the premise, I couldn't completely get into the MMC which is kind of wild because he’s actually so my boyfriend coded. And her constant like nagging and dislike of her culry hair even though she kept saying she didnt dislike it was kind of bleh. But it was a nice listen. Fuck Saint martins press tho, so I got this audiobook free from libro.fm as a bookseller.

4.5 stars. Honestly YA Fantasy excellence, centered around non-white people. Exploring ideas of grief, and faith. I loved it , had me hooked immediately and may even be moved up to five stars. Its wonderful to see a story about indigenous people, and their culture, and see a fantasy world not so over exposed or explored. I loved the romance I just would have liked a little more tension and chemistry!!

Abby , i finally understand the hype. This was my first entry into her world. I was memorized. The book had me laughing out loud, crying and feeling all the feels. It frustrated me at some points but always brought me back to joy. Loved the very original premise . Let me know if I should go back through her track list!

3.75, I HATED the first premise , but then it slowly got better. It wasn’t amazing, but I enjoyed the narrators.

Emily Henry is a wonderful writer with a penchant for the "real stuff", though I deeply understood the heroine and the relationship with her father, and I absolutely ADORED Miles, Like he could be my new fave adored. I was reading listening to this while also reading "Just for the summer" by Abby Jimenez, and because of all the similarities even if the main plots were at the core different, I cant help but feeling Abby did it better. So a four star.
