WHY DON'T THEY HAVE SECURITY CAMERAS
I have never been so stressed reading a book as I was in part 1 of this.
Hated the ending I'm very upset.

I love how elements from the first book that you forget about become really crucial in this one.

Was not expecting a YA murder mystery series to make me cry so much??

why were they always growling

I really enjoyed the "enemies" to reluctant friends bit of this, love that cheesy shit. I hate Ethan's refusal to believe his brother is not a good guy despite his obviously sketchy behaviour, that he pressured Olive into not telling her twin about his brother's lies, and that he only admitted he was wrong when it was too late.

I'm choosing to ignore that ONE part of Mr. Knightley's character.

I loved Tori in Heartstopper but in this book I found her a little too frustrating for my taste. I didn't understand why she kept getting into those same fights with Michael. The ending was a bit messy.

I wish that it went a little deeper into Michael's life and the root of his anger issues, as we never really find out much about him. Why did they think he was weird at Truham? I also wish that Tori's romantic feelings for him were built up more as it felt like the kiss was added as an afterthought.

I also would've liked to see what Becky did addressed more? She remained in a relationship with the guy who assaulted her best friend's little brother and didn't think she did anything wrong so never apologised. Additionally, what Lucas did was super creepy and he seems to be forgiven by the end.

Overall, it was good for a novel written by a teenager! I'm looking forward to reading Alice's other books and seeing her improvement.
