OH.MY.GOD. Sarah J Maas is a freaking genius for writing this book. IT WAS AMAZING. SO EFFING GOOD I CAN'T GET OVER IT. The book started good and it made me cry in the first 100 freaking pages!! Like what the hell? How can a book be this awesome? The story, the plot, the characters, the world building, everything was perfect!!!! Every single character went deep into my heart and made their place there. And OMG THE LAST 150 PAGES. LIKE WHY. They were full of action and tears and emotion and ugh I can't explain into words how fun I had reading them. I can't, even now, stop thinking about those last pages. I was like "NOOOOOO WHYYYY" and "YESSSSS GO BRYCE" at the same time when reading them. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME THE CC2 ASAP BECAUSE I MAY BE DYING FROM WITHDRAWL *cries*. Also, the book did not end on a cliffhanger *phew* but the theories we can make omg
Okay WHAT THE HELL. I had this book sitting on my shelf since freaking 2019 and I did not read it before. WHY??!! I hate the past me now. For not reading this gem of a book sooner.
You see, I am not a mystery book person. They bore me. So naturally I thought the worst of this book. BOY WAS I WRONG. It was soooo amazing and I had a hell lot of fun reading it. As soon as I put the book down to do something else, it's thoughts would consume me and I had to go back to continue. Pip's character was awesome and nothing like I imagined. She was smart and witty and I loved her. The whole book was a ride itself, full of mystery and kept me hooked till the last page. I definitely would recommend it to everyone, because if me who doesn't like mystery books usually loved it hella lot, y'all will die reading it.
