This book is the PERFECT summer romantasy! 💕
It’s inspired by Pirates of the Carribean and Atlantis. Featuring Sirens, Pirates, and a lost world.
It’s everything you could want in a slow burn enemies-to allies- to lovers. It includes my absolute favorite trope, he falls first.
It’s well written, and will keep you on the edge of your seat. If you’re looking for your next summer read, look no further!

An Adorable small town romance, where the FMC is looking to find herself after a bad experience sets her into a spiral.
Our FMC Juliette, or Jules for short, is literally sunshine in human form. She wears her heart on her sleeve. She has a bad experience that causes her to absolutely question her entire path, and decides to take a vacation/ getaway to get her head on straight. She’s immediately greeted at her cabin rental by the local grouch. She quickly grows attached to the small town in Wisconsin where she visits, assimilating into the town, and people’s lives with ease with such a bright personality.
Wes is the only person in town who doesn’t immediately love Jules. He’s a down to earth, no nonsense guy. He’s been burned before by a romance with a tourist and wants nothing to do with them, or love. He’s purely focused on his town, his bar, and his family. Try as he might, he can’t seem to ignore or stay away from our FMC. Her pretty sundresses, her bikini’s, and her bubbly personality, and the fact that she’s EVERYWHERE. She becomes fast friends with his sister, and everyone in town.
When he finally stops resisting, the chemistry is undeniable. He melts like a marshmallow.
This slowburn, the chemistry sizzles on every page. The summer for us is a can’t miss small town romance, and a PERFECT summer read! ❤️❤️❤️

3.5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Broken Play by Riley Page was an excellent debut novel. There were some inconsistencies, and Mads constant anxious monologues are the reason why I only gave this 3 stars.
The good: Jax in an absolute cinamon roll. Sweet inside and out, a star football player, and would do anything for our FMC including dropping everything and transferring schools to be near her after she leaves him a drunk voicemail. In HIS LAST YEAR of college.
If you’re craving a sports/football romance with plenty of feels this might be for you.
-Football Romance 🏈
-Friends - to estranged - to lovers ❤️
-Second Chance 2️⃣
-He falls first 🥇
-mental health rep 🧠
I’m a bit behind writing my review, life’s been hectic, but thank you Chasing Books PR for the ARC!
