I decided to start a new to author, a genre I don't really pick up often and wanted to try more of this year and needless to say... I'll be back for more of Rebecca's books! 

All the stars!! I was quite impressed with how this book kept me engaged and wanting more! I loved it! Dorian and Baz were end game for me from the very beginning. He needed saving from the very beginning and I was all here for a strong, independent woman to come sweeping in and saving the day. And can we talk about this cat and it's name! Omg I died ☠️🤣! Screwtape, love it! 

I didn't know this was book two going in so now I'll need to go back and read the first book as well as hunt down her other books! 

Heart of Hope by Lucy Score

Talk about a emotional read from the very first page! This book will have you crying, laughing, crying again all while having "Hope" that good things come to this family. I absolutely adored the Quinn family and they have such big hearts and have endured what most people don't want to face. To say this book is special would be a understatement. All the feels in this one along with family, love, romance, loss, found family, all the things wrapped up in a small little town around the holiday season! Definitely worth picking up this short little novella!

Ellie does it again with this cozy mystery! I've been loving this series and I'm sad to see that the next book will be the last! 😭 I loved that this was revolving around Valentine's day and romance was in bloom through out meanwhile trying to solve a murder. I DID NOT see who did it coming! I was completely shocked because I totally thought it was someone else! Love when her books twist to someone else that I didn't even think of! Perfection! I loved this and can't wait for the next one to come out!

I loved Archer and Sabrina's story so much! Archer is such a sweetheart! I loved the disability rep and feel like it was done perfectly! Sabrina was definitely a sweetheart too! I loved how well she adapted to Archer and made sure to always be mindful! The whole vibe of this book was just all around a sweet romance while also focusing on ASL which plays a huge roll in the story! Archer is definitely the protective type and took him a bit to warm up to Sabrina which was totally understandable! I love that she gets to have a relationship with her brother and his fiance all while loving Archer! It was just so cute once they got over being stubborn with each other. The way he would move mountains for her, protect her and love her deeply just made my romance heart so happy. I definitely recommend picking this one!

Wow... just wow! This book was outstanding, emotionally draining, powerful, enlightening, and has you feeling all kinds of ways throughout the whole story! At first I was unsure if I was going to like it, took me a minute to really get into it but after I got to about the half way point I started flying through the pages and couldn't stop! I was sucked in and wasn't spit out until the very end and to say I'm very much emotionally drained would be a understatement! This book took me through it... I was happy, sad, mad as hell, overwhelmed, mad again, sad again, and happy once more. I was rooting for Leni and her mom the whole time!! It's hard to watch a person be changed after a war and what they've seen and been through is hard to comes to terms with so to watch the man who is supposed to be a loving husband and father be such a complete asshole was just flabbergasting and heartwrenching especially knowing he was going through it in his mind. Granted that didn't ever make me like him and still don't even now that I'm done the book, but it's definitely eye opening to see how life can change anyone, good or bad. I loved Alaska. This is a bucket list visit for me so any book set in Alaska makes my heart happy even if the story itself wasn't always happy. I'm telling you, if you haven't picked this book up please do! Found family, emotional, time over 3 generations, love, loss, all the feels, just a all round amazing book!!!!

Friends To lovers ✔️ Single Dad ✔️ small town ✔️ yup, everything I love in a book is wrapped up in the story!!! I really enjoyed Rhodes and Elle's story from the best friends aspect to of course the happy ending! 

I knew they loved each other before they both really new, especially Elle! I mean you always love your best friend but it's a whole new level of love when you love your best friend and also want to be with them. Rhode's new it pretty early on but watching them come together and just fall into the bliss of it all was magical! 

And can we talk about Levi!! Cutest kid ever! I love how Willow always incorporates the kids into the story perfectly and they always play a big roll and have large parts through out the book. 

And you can't forget all the other characters who come and go through out. I loved Rhode's parents. They just seemed so laid back and go with the flow type of people! I had to warm up to Elle's parents and I guess their strict ways was a turn off for me there for minute but eventually they won me over too! And naturally all the guys from the team make appearances through out and it's always funny reading their parts. Never know what your going to get. 

If your looking for everything above plus family, fun, love and just a all round great story, pick this book up! Highly recommend it!

This was a fairly good read. I enjoyed the mystery aspect, the characters (especially Nicole) were definitely something else with some crazy personalities. It was insta lovey but slow burn at the same time, if that makes any sense! 😂 The pacing was bit to slow but that's a me thing (I'm super picky about pacing) but besides that I found this to be enjoyable. I liked trying to put the pieces together (mind you, I didn't guess right.. no surprise there 😂), I enjoyed the romance, the family aspect, and the the protectiveness these characters had with each other. All round a solid read.

I really enjoyed Paige and Nate's story. At first I was a bit hesitant because it was all insta lovey and that's not my favorite trope, but... after a bit I ended up loving Paige and her story before warming up to Nate later on. I really loved his family and how welcoming and loving they were towards Paige and treated her like she was one of them right from the start. I love a good family dynamic! I loved how no matter how hard Paige pushed Nate away, he kept pushing and sticking with her! Proved that he was there for the long haul and it was just so sweet! All around a great story and recommend picking this one up!

Kicking off the new year with my first 5 star read!!! I absolutely loved this book. I loved Henley and Easton's story. I loved how deep this story got and all the mental health awareness that was put into it. I enjoyed the banter between the main characters and the whole forbidden vibe at the beginning! Once again Laura brings the family dynamic into another series and I'm all here for it! The group texts were on point as always and the emotions run deep in this one! Absolutely loved and highly recommend.

All the Missing Pieces by Catherine Cowles

Wow!!! The perfect book to end 2024 with!!! All the stars as usual. I expect nothing less from Catherine! I absolutely loved Ridley and Colts story! I loved the concept of a podcast solving dead end missing person cases! Do I need to start getting into true crime? Maybe... I'll blame Catherine for it if I do! 😂 Honestly, I don't know who I loved more... our main characters or Ridley's cat! I love cats, and her cat was everything!!! I had no idea who the killer was and was completely taken by suprise by who it ended up being! In all reality, Catherine knows how to suck you in and make you think... even if your wrong. 😂 I loved getting to know these characters and hope to see some of them in future work. Such a good book and I had a blast reading it! Glad I could end my year with such a amazing read!!
