This is Emily’s third collection of poems (and prose). This time she’s stepped away from Hades and Persephone to dive into the tumultuous time that is your 20s. Leaving all that was familiar in your childhood to step into the big bad adult world only to find you have no idea what you’re doing, you’re lonely, and your mental health might not be healthing the way it should. I love watching Emily grow and evolve as a writer. This wonderful collection brought me back to my 20s. By day I was acting the adult but in the wee hours of the morning I felt every inch a lost child play acting adulthood.

I can’t wait to see what Emily writes next.
