I think this creates a really interesting beginning for a superhero. I really like Kamala Khan as a character, and she has some really funny insight when first trying out the super hero thing.
I would warn any prospective readers, do yourself a favor and get both Vol 1 and 2 to read. Volume 1 feels very much like an introduction, with actual super hero stuff only being touched on near the end, I am hoping future volumes expand on the character, while also showing her develop as a hero.
