I need to make a mental note to myself to not expect anything with books. I like the book. It was fun and enjoyable. I thought the characters and the plot were great but i feel like the first half of the book is very boring and confusing. I found myself bored at the first half of the book. I guess i put too much expectation into this because all of my friends rave this book but it was just okay for me.

Another reread and i like it slightly than the first one because we can see more of Celaena as an assassin but there's this one part of the book i just feel like it's too convenient and doesn't still well with me.

Aha, i finally finish this book where's my medal? I thought the book serve pretty well for an ending book. I found it kinda funny that we spend most of the time in here just trying to travel to the war scene and when we get there everything seems to end so easy. But i guess the point of these books are about the preperation for the war. Still i enjoyed the book (maybe a little too much because i'm easily entertained)

I have to get through this 600 pages novel just to get through the end?! Yes.

Honestly at first nothing really going on in this book. Then like the last 100 pages things go down and i'm having a blast. It could end just like that and i'm satisfied. Make more depressing ending in YA fantasy.
