And Every Morning the Way Home Gets Longer and Longer by Fredrik Backman

This really is a beautiful little book that almost reads like poetry. It's very sweet and manages to have some complexity of characters and their relationships within the ~70 pages.

This was the best teen book I’ve read - aside from Strange the Dreamer, which I think is written more like adult. There was depth to the characters, interesting dialogue, and lots of unexpected twists packed in this relatively small (460 pages yes but well spaced with big font) book. And I cried for a minute, so do with that what you will.

One of my absolute favorite reads of the year. What a wonderful series and fantastic conclusion. After a lot of disappointing or meh YA reads this year, I was apprehensive, but when the first book became available as an audiobook at my library and after hearing some good things about it, I thought I’d give it a try. The series is full of whimsical magic and warm camaraderie, and the final book great battle scenes and hardship (and an epilogue that made me cry and cry) that make it a wonderful epic.
