The movie and tv show/s definitely dramatised it a lot (obviously) so I didn’t know what to expect from the book but it was pleasant and I enjoyed.

I’m glad it was fast-paced because it wasn’t as good as it could’ve been. Kitty wasn’t a very likeable main character. I am comparing it to Sweetpea, which tbf the author does mention she got inspiration from, but it didn’t quite itch the same scratch

Think I preferred Astrid and Delilah’s stories however I related A LOT to Stevie. I think it gave me anxiety the amount of anxiety her and Iris had that I just could not wait for them to be happy

Think I needed a break from audiobooks, otherwise this could’ve been 4*. Stephen Fry made it feel like I was listening to an episode of Doctor Who. Can’t really fault it.

Such a slow burn at the start omfg the second half of the book. What an endotoxins roller coaster. AHB writes in such a way where what could’ve been a cliche story didn’t come across like that and the character development is just wonderful. I love Jordan.

I love lesbians. I’m so glad that the relationship between the two was balanced and one wasn't dominating the other because it made it feel a lot more real and raw.

+0.5* only for the narration because that was incredible. Overall 3* because while the relationships and characters were explored well, the “vibes, no plot” had me bored for the last 6-7 hours and could’ve predicted the ultimate ending.

Really brought the whole series together. Much easier to follow when all the characters are in one place unlike the second book. Thoroughly enjoyed the plot and was much easier to read than I thought. Proud of my self for getting through this one so quick.

Overall the series is a 4* and ngl the end of this book redeemed itself. Was going to give it 3/3.5 but the relationships in this series are so well thought out and it really brought it all together.
