Man’s been pining for 2 years gotta respect that. AND he turned his pining into art and disposable income what a win. Gemma is also really inspiring and my heart breaks for her at some parts of the book I love them so much. Also I want to hear Carly and Theo’s story not gonna lie it would make a reallyyy good book too.

When they write about each other in their books 😍. Honestly, on a more serious note, I love the writing style and how you kinda feel like an omnipresent force throughout the book, floating in and out of the minds of the different characters. We get to live in their heads for a moment, in a moment, before shifting on as someone else and boi is it exhilarating. I love this book.

Scared the shit out of me towards the end but I could really resonate with Annika’s sense of loneliness in life and her need to grow and figure things out by herself instead of relying on other people for support was inspiring and made me very proud of her.

What is up with Renee carlino putting her characters (and us) through so much pain and angst and pining over the course of like… decades?!? Like yes go girlie I love that energy but o my gawd does it hurt so much. Also did not expect to come out of reading this book having discovered a new favourite song but tHAnks. Maybe I should make a playlist of the songs mentioned here hm….
