Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover

Como todos los anteriores libros de Colleen que leí, son de una lectura súper rápida y súper atrapante, este claramente no fue la excepción y lo disfruté muchísimo.
En sí la historia me pareció muy buena exceptuando algunos detalles que siento que quedaban fuera de lugar, como por ejemplo (spoiler alert) cuando Kenna por fin le lee la carta tan esperada a Ledger sobre lo qué pasó aquella noche, un momento re emotivo en el cual me estaba limpiando las lagrimas y la siguiente línea que leo es la de ellos dos teniendo sexo en la camioneta…. Ósea- donde quedó el ~procesar la información~ no sé, para mi no era el momento de una sex scene.
Lo mismo con la primera noche cuando Kenna vuelve al bar después de que Ledger se lo pida… Ella se justificó con su “lo voy a rechazar para sentirme mejor y listo”, cuando todos sabíamos que eso no iba a pasar.. Qcyo, si al otro día vas a ir a hablarle a los papás de tu ex novio fallecido que te odian para que te dejen ver a tu hija que nunca conociste, la verdad que tu mente no está pensando en rechazar a un muchacho..
Más allá de eso, me re gustó la historia y los personajes, así que lo recomiendo. :) <3

If you’ve been reading my updates about this book, you might’ve guessed that I really liked it, and the answer is yes. I really did.
This story has played with my heart so much and I loved every part of it (even if it made me suffer a lot).
All of the characters were so lovely that i even cried of happiness, they were so well done and each of their pasts felt so real that it was really easy for me to connect with them. I was deeply touched.
This is the first Historical Romance book that I read and I couldn’t be happier. Both love stories were SO pure and wholesome that I immediately knew it was going to became one of my favorites.
Hazel and James connection and Aubrey and Colette's personalities made me realize how bad I want that type of love. Thanks Aphrodite <3
I’ve sobbed 10 times while reading this (TEN, I counted them) but omg, it was so worth it. I just finished it a few hours ago and I really wish I could go back in time.
Please do yourself a favor and read it. You’ll thank me later. Once you start it, you can’t stop.
Will you suffer? Yes. A LOT. But again, best decision I’ve made.

Sinceramente esperaba más, es verdad que nunca había leído un dark academy entonces no sabía que me iba a encontrar, pero de igual manera no me llenó.
No sé, el desenlace fue “meh”, no se me hizo un re plot twist y los personajes eran ok. Mi fav siempre fue James pero tampoco es como que los llegas a conocer demasiado, cada uno tiene su personalidad si, pero no se si es suficiente como para conectar con ellos. Por lo menos no para mi.
Eso es todo, no me voló el bocho como a muchos, es un libro “okay”.
