I enjoyed the book but it was also kinda boring. I didn't really care for the characters that much but I did like the plot.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 30%.
Wasn't what I thought it was going to be. The story was boring and I couldn't get into it.

This book really had me crying in the library. I knew it was going to be sad but I didn't guess the ending.
While reading I thought the mom was abusing them so Monday ran away. I was so devastated when I found out she killed her and August.

I didnt expect to like this book as much as I did since I don't usually read romance but I actually loved it. I love Adam and Olive.

I really liked the fact that this book was written in the second person. It confused me at first cause I'm kinda stupid but I loved it when I got used to it. This story was really reflective and dives deeper than just a love story. It does a perfect job at handling the Black Experience from going to a majority white college to how it feels getting stopped by the cops. The story was also very lyrical.
