This is the second book in the Sleet series.. I flew through the first book immediately started the second I’m working my way onto the third right now. I actually snoozed on the series for quite some time just because I had other books I was in the process of reading or one off arcs that I was doing. This book follows Izzy and Zach and is absolutely hilarious. So far. The first two books were both fast-paced funny this one. I was laughing out loud throughout the story. I’ve seen a few reviews that say these are slow burn. They’re not slow burn they’re not overly spicy, but spice fits the story in the right places, the way that these are written is great for character development and it definitely has you wanting to see where the next book goes and all the other characters are brought in but they can be read as interconnected standalones.

I’m honestly not sure where to begin. I have very quickly become addicted to the Valentine, TX Series. The character development in all of these books is done so well. You become attached to the characters within the stories and even though they are all interconnected standalone books you’re able to get updates on everybody as each book comes out. It is the best!
Smooth as Whiskey follows the story of Remi and Cash. There was a very small teaser about what the story could have become in the very first book in the series, Bless your Heart. I have been dying to read it since then knowing it would be brothers best friend, age gap and more. When I tell you this book did not disappoint…it was so freaking good and some of it was so unexpected! Also….The mouth on Dr. Cash Johnson was amazing for this story. There is a side to Remi that you learn in this story and seeing that side of Cash makes everything make so much sense. They are absolutely perfect together.
I honestly can’t say enough about this series, next book in the series has a Handyman hottie that you are not gonna want to miss!!
In addition to the Valentine, TX series, there are two other series I am following that are just as amazing by Lyra Parish and you should dive in! Definitely check out the Billionaire Situation series the first book, The Wife Situation, is absolutely phenomenal. Second book is coming up soon! You see a few cameos of those characters in the Valentine series and they even make a trip to Valentine in book 1! And for sure check out the Very Merry series! 2nd book is coming in November and 1st book does not disappoint!! Once again there’s a very small cameo in each of these other series from a few of these characters which is amazing the way it’s done!

I’ve fallen for Dalton Davis and refuse to get up…this is the second book in the Boston Blizzard Series, it was so good! I’m really surprised to say this, but it was even better than book1!!! Dia and Dalton have a little banter in the first book in the series, I was not anticipating to be blown away by the development of character, hilarious banter, and the filthy mouth on Dalton Davis!
I absolutely cannot wait to read the third book about Tanner!!

This was a super fast quirky romcom that was nice and steamy!  The book follows Zara Hathaway, a suite loyal to a fault FMC, and Jackson Pruitt, an alpha, billionaire MMC.

Jackson and Zara on me by chance and have a one night stand. Oddly enough fate continues to bring the two back together.
There are plenty of freaky funny scenes, and although there are additional storylines, this book does not leave you hanging. The story is extremely fast-paced. Super happy couple and some of Jackson’s cute moments really shocked me.

If you’re looking for a funny quirky, super fast-paced romcom is it !

This is a fun and quick read, I love a good grumpy MMC and Grayson was so good!!

This book picks up right where the 1st book left off but can be read as a standalone as well. Grayson was everything I thought he would be and Jovana was his perfect match! Marni writes great interconnected series and this was no different. Character development was great. Storyline was fun I’m excited to read more. The guy group of friends is so fun to follow and I’m excited to see if there is a Holden book coming!!

The spell is on me….

THIS.BOOK.
I’m honestly not sure where to begin. This well kept secret popped up out of nowhere and was the BEST kind of surprise.

This book follows Lexi, also known as Alexis Matthews from Valentine Texas and Easton Calloway…Mr. Grumpy  New York City billionaire. Lexi leaves Valentine Texas heartbroken and ready to follow her dreams in the big city. Easton and Lexi have a chance meeting and a few serendipitous recurrences that spark an adventure of a lifetime! Also…Easton has a twin brother… and I can’t wait to see what’s up next!!!

I’ve said this before…Lyra’s writing is flawless. The development just flows, the story plays on like a movie and the Characters in these books along with the stories that develop will literally have you hooked, laughing, falling in love, on the edge of your seat, and emotionally invested! I absolutely loved getting to read some of the characters from the Valentine Series that showed up in this book and there was even a quick cameo made by a guy from Merryville!

I have not read a Lyra book that did not captivate me from the very beginning. Coming from me, that should not be taken lightly. I am extremely picky when it comes to reading a romcom(her recent stuff)…I am a darker sports reader usually.. I happen to stumble into Merryville last Christmas on a holiday challenge and now I will forever read ANYTHING Lyra writes!

If you haven’t checked out the Valentine Series definitely do that! Smooth as Whiskey, book #4, is coming in May! As for Merryville, get A Very Merry Mistake on your TBR as soon as possible because A Very Merry Nanny will be here in time for the Holidays and you do NOT want to miss it..I promise!
