Debunking Utopia: Exposing the Myth of Nordic Socialism by Nima Sanandaji
1.0
The book ia full of statements that are not supported by any citation or study. The book falls into the category of pure ideology which is clearly isn’t supported research or a deep historical account of the evolution of the Nordic countries.
It fails to consider the full importance of workers movements and the importance of the public sector (see the period after the WWs where inequality was lower).
It tries to justify the current situation as a “high taxes” problem without support of analysis.
Being a think tank writer, his style is based of large assumptions that sit well in your ear but lack of proper analysis.

Capital in the Twenty-First Century by Thomas Piketty

The books is very well written and has an in-depth analysis of capital and wealth of the past centuries. The proposed political actions are a bit weak in their development and analysis.
