This is a re-read and this time I did the audiobook version. I still enjoyed this, a great look not only into Michelle Obama's life, but the life of her family and time in the White House too.

Rating it for the type of book it is. The use of personal stories can be a little confusing to follow at times but I found this a powerful read and opened my eyes to look into a lot of things I didn't have knowledge of or was too young to fully grasp. I think this book (or something similar) should be a required read before anyone can fully form much of an opinion on immigration. If you don't agree, that's fine. Sorry if this review is more political than usual but this was a timely read and I don't think this problem will go away any time soon if the powers that be cannot see the human side of immigration, how this country is not innocent in some of the situations it was involved in to create some crisis abroad, and make their decisions accordingly.
