Beneath the Wreckage by Catherine Cowles

What a good finale to the Wrecked series. Getting to see Hunter get his peace and his happiness after the way this series has affected him was great. As was getting to see Piper join the town and be loved by everyone, as well as find her own love. So sad to be caught up on all of Cowles's series and now I just have to wait for more!
A Light in the Dark: Surviving More than Ted Bundy by Kathy Kleiner Rubin, Emilie Le Beau Lucchesi

I really think this should be a required read if you are big on true crime, especially learning about Ted Bundy. This is such an honest story of what happened and what the media portrayed versus what happened, and I think Kathy is so brave for telling her story.

I am really interested in this, but I find it too wordy for the reading mood I've been in lately. I like the story and am familiar with the ideas from comic book series, but I am finding myself losing track with how this is written. I will continue it later on when I have less other things going on.
Reckless Refuge by Catherine Cowles

Shay and Brody were such a great pair to follow. Their individual stories slowly coming into focus and their joint story came together perfectly. I really loved this one. The suspense was top tier too.

Griffin and Caelyn were like a warm hug. They were both so selfless and caring for everyone around them, even though Griffin hid it well. Everything about their dynamic was fun to read.
Perfect Wreckage by Catherine Cowles

This was a deeply emotional and heart wrenching book. Kenna’s story and growth was so touching and Crosby’s story was just as good. I really loved them together as a couple and I am loving being in Sutter Lake.
The Day I Die: The Untold Story of Assisted Dying in America by Anita Hannig

This was a fascinating and thought provoking way to examine this topic and portray the process and stories of people who choose this. I really enjoyed (for lack of a better word) reading and learning about all the people within it. The author's writing was so great as well. I would definitely read more from her in the future.

DNF I could not seem to get into the plot at all. I may try again later, but I didn't make it very far. I do blame being more into fantasy and romances right now than I do the book itself for my lack of desire to read this.

I really want to like this, but I really just feel too old for it. I got about 10% into it, and I have been trying to reconnect with YA, but this one just feels a bit too much of a reach for me.
