maia’s story isn’t over as she ventures through this journey on defeating her country’s enemy, and her own demon.

the story’s still fast pace for me but i actually kind of liked it. i liked how the story runs and how it ends with their future stated on phrases. like, i rly need that closure for this duology’s story. 

but alas, i’ve grown to like miss lim’s writing style so hell yeah i’m reading her other books!

honestly started reading this book blindly and just went with the flow. and it’s super easy to read. 

we have an aspiring character who wants to prove anyone wrong by being the first female tailor (tailors are supposed to be men in this world)

and my girl Maia did not disappoint

 

i’m just devastated on what her future will become now that she’s…. anyway YES I NEED TO READ THE SEQUEL ASAP 😭 I NEED ANSWERS

i’m literally in love with this book! i would’ve devoured this in less than a week if it weren’t for work 😭 the story came to me so easily, like i never knew i could read that fast in my whole life.
