The Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan

If you're tired of Rick Riordan using mythology as the inspiration for every. Single. One. Of his books (at least, most of them, I wouldn't know about the adult ones), this book might not be for you.
But if you, like me, aren't bothered by that, then this is a pretty great book.
There's also the fact that Magnus Chase sounds exactly like the Norse demigod equivalent of Percy Jackson. I didn't really care, but I'm a huge Rick Riordan fan, so I guess that might have something to do with it.
Basically, it's a great book, and you should definitely give it a try if you like mythology and snarky narrators, and if you aren't already bored of either of those things due to his earlier books.
