This is a cute, fun, and quick read.

I haven't read many bear shifter books...so this one having bears mate for life but having a long history of abandoning those mates...did rub me the wrong way...I'm so used to shifters that mate for life lol anywho this has an HEA and seems to lead in the direction that though historically mates have abandoned...a lot more now are question why.

Anywho...sweet, cute, and I'm ready to read the next 🥰

This was the story I was looking most forward to reading...but after two books of a lot of, " we can't be together", "but the Moon Goddess wouldn't match us if we weren't meant to be", "but we still can't be together", ...it just really felt overdone trying to get through this one...😅 The first book it made sense, we had an Alpha and what we thought was a Psi, book two even made some sense due to the reason Dirge was turning feral, but this book was really just two stubborn ass people...okay yes in the later part of the books there are slightly bigger excuses to add to the thoughts of "we can't" but girl...we can't have every couple hemming and hawwing like this...it's getting old 😅

I do love the world and the big picture villain they're all fighting...but I'm really hoping with Reed's book releasing in a few months...especially knowing his book has a human, I'm really hoping we aren't getting just more excusing and drawn out reasons why they can't be together.

The way the author has each couple's mate marks work on their own timeline...I LOVE. It makes sense that not all couples would notice the signs of a mate the same exact ways and that their marks would progress at different timetables. So she's got me hooked...whether I like it or not 🤷🏽‍♀️

Ngl when I read book one...I thought that they were gearing up to have 2 besties fall for 3 besties lol so when Dirge came in, also who names their kid Dirge?! I don't care if it was 300 years ago or whenever lmao
...anyways...When Dirge came it I was like...ugh okay let's see how this plays out...and it really made the most sense. We have Shay who's a more socially reserved person, due to childhood trauma, and then Dirge, who's lived wild for the last 3 years after receiving information that was hard to handle.

Overall, was the, "I can't shift back because I care" and all the "we can't progress because I care" annoying? Hell yeah...nonetheless it was still a beautiful read that had me rooting for this couple 💜

Quick fun shifter read. I love the friendships we're getting too. The three girl bff's are so badass and there for each other 🥰

I'm also always here for when the alpha is instantly like, "she's weak she could never be my mate" and then has to eat those words 😌

Quick easy read. We get a marriage of convenience with two headstrong people that are ultimately perfect for each other.

I do wish we had a little more substance...like with the staff...though this is just the beginning of an interconnected world so I'm sure we'll get more in the future...it would just be nice to see more of his connection with the staff, those that he trusts and cares for, and more of seeing her connection with his staff grow.

Also, I wasn't fond of the 3rd act conflict and how it played out...I think it could have been worked a bit differently to make the resolution seem more realistic...I mean the reasons for the conflict were valid but the speed in which the characters flipped their decision in the moment...seemed unrealistic...but maybe that's just me lol

Holy shit...this was hot. Like DAMN *bites fist*

I love that it wasn't super easy I mean you have 3 best friends who've known each other for 20+ years who had a falling out...one left and is with a soulmate for 2 years before reaching back out to try to reconnect with the lost parts of his soul...

I mean what would you do if you're committed bf all of a sudden introduced you to his two bffs and then opened up that they used to be so much more...and he misses that but he wants you as part of that too?

Of course we have one difficult puzzle piece that refuses to accept that they can complete each other...and is a pain in the butt...I do wish we'd explored that a little more...like why they felt that way...definitely some trauma...but the author does state in the beginning that his book isn't meant to be deep lol

Very excited to read Emo Barbie's book next as it's listed as a FFMM and I can't really remember reading a dynamic like that before. 😌

WOW! What a ride! Definitely gives some "Ready or Not" vibes. This is one of those fun, short, reads that really feels like you're just getting a quick glimpse...and though you're desperate for more information, especially after the events, you know you'll never get it...just be left wondering which direction the surviving characters took...🤌🏽

Wow...I really didn't know what I was getting into when I read the summary of this book. It's definitely more about healing from the trauma of loss, finding yourself, and then finding love again.

Both of these characters are so broken at the start and really through each other start on the path to healing themselves and each other.

I would not recommend going into this is you aren't ready to deal with a lot of emotion...like this book is heavy with loss...if you're not in the right headspace for that...I'd recommend setting this one aside until you are.

😭 I can't accept that this story is over...I'm really hoping we get at least one spin off series...I feel like there are so many more stories to be told.

This, like most romantasies...though there is a beautiful ending...we definitely don't end the story with everyone we had at the beginning 🥹 there must always be a balance in fantasy...no matter how much we don't want there to be.

Okay but seriously...she's gotta give us more right? You can't give us the heated banter between Emonie and Ryatt...and then not give us them as a couple...and you can't have Ryatt end with being devastated he can't find a way back to Orean...like we need to know the kingdoms are doing okay...so I'm hoping we get some kind of journey with Emonie and Ryatt where they quest to find a way back? Though they have different dads...isn't it possible Ryatt may have some buried hereditary magic from his moms line? All I know is I need more lol

OMG ...I thought the last book was a ride...this was like one of those rides that takes you up so many stories...randomly drops you a bit before the big drop.

First of all...how dare you allow Melina to get a redemption arc and for my ass to actually start coming around to her...makes me sick with myself!

Anywho...hoping Auren really fucks shit up in the final book 🤭
