It’s a good short book. Interesting plot and good writing. Definitely geared towards children but still a fun and chill read as a teenager and I would imagine as an adult too.

I read this book and the others in the series during elementary school and now that I’m in high school i thought I would re-read them while I’m in a reading slump since they are short and easy. 

It’s a good book with great writing and an interesting premise. I would definitely recommend this book to parents or teachers of young children for a short chapter book that will be a fun read. Though I do remember that the other 4 books can be a little scary at some parts but this first one isn’t really at all. :)
