Mine To Keep by Davidson King
5.0
Is there anything more delicious than two men who are attracted to each other but are fighting it, especially when it also involves the battle of a good but morally grey man and another who has a black-and-white view of what is right and wrong? It creates some amazing tension.
As the Saint Brothers continue to fight for those that need it, they, and especially Nick, find themselves in a predicament where the one that needs him, doesn’t want his brand of help. But let's be honest, how could you not fall for the over-eager and stubborn man?
Matt is lovely and I feel bad about not just his situation but that he had to have his eyes opened to the darkness most don’t see. But also, it’s satisfying to see his world expand.
Alpha & Omega by Courtney W. Dixon
5.0
Ah damn, we knew Alpha’s story would be an emotional one. Someone who spent so much time and energy helping those who truly need it was going give our hearts a trial.
And no one is more deserving of a chance at love than Kingston. Especially that of Harley. A stunning human of his own right.
And together they are so warm and wonderful. Not without being put through the wringer, but they are open and communicative. Generally, they just make your heart sore.
It was a fantastic conclusion to the Alpha Rejects series, even if bittersweet that it’s ending.
The Cowboy and the Wheelman by Jackie North
5.0
Another powerful story from Jackie’s series that highlights second chances and fresh starts.
Their crimes, as they were, did not deserve the hell they found themselves in on a chain gang.
So their fresh start in Farthingdale is all the more satisfying, because wow, they deserve some kindness and love!
Not that accepting their new reality is easy, trusting anything is an upheaval battle, but they have each other to help find their way through.
Hudson is grumpy, closed off, and wanting to hide away, but his tent mate, despite what they’ve been through, still holds hope and love. I love their combination.
It’s a touching story.
Edge of Temptation by Hayden Hall

Easton and Jace’s story is secretive, including in the writing style which draws out their past and present, keeping you on edge and slightly uncomfortable with the tension between them.
It’s an intriguing story, that hurts your heart for all they’ve both gone through, for what they could have been sooner, but oh so happy that they’ve made it through to something special.
It’s a dark story, not just between them, but the other characters and side stories too.
It also ends with a bit of a cliffhanger, not about the couple but the underlining story involving the Hockey team Easton is on, and it left me wanting, no, needing to know what happens.

Possessive Puckboy by Eden Finley, Saxon James

Connor is having a life crisis and it is full of drama, hilarious woe-is-me moments, and some touching self-discovery. He’s also possessive AF. Delicious.
I love a good redemption story. And Connor and Parker were a compelling couple. And I really enjoyed their journey together and individually.
Parker has been holding on to some pain and trauma, with no one in his life to help shoulder it all, he’s about to learn what life is like with the sole focus of the charismatic Connor.
It definitely had an unexpected twist, but oh man, it was satisfying.
Super excited this series isn’t over, can’t wait for the next one.

Kai is starting over. Leaving Colliers Creek behind, and all the people who know him possibly too well. It’s a chance to explore things that weren’t previously possible. Namely his bisexuality and interest in kink.
Through his exploration, he meets Ezra and Sloan, two men who carry a common trauma. All three of them are missing that feeling of being seen and loved for who they are in the here and now.
It’s a touching story of three men finding themselves with each other, mixed with a bit of danger and suspense. Which is a great way to highlight the incredible family that Whipped has created.
Finding Lord Landry by Lucy Lennox
5.0
I knew Landry’s story was going to be a doozy! He’s basically an overworked superhero carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders, all wrapped up in the supermodel playboy exterior.
And there’s Kenji…the superhero of the Billionaire Brotherhood. He wrangles, organizes, and generally manages the incredibly busy lives and portfolios of the brothers and their families with ease and grace.
There is only one thing the can rile up Kenji, and that’s Landry - and their story is wild. As perceptions are broken, familial obligations rear up, political intrigue enters the realm, and so many feelings must be faced. It’s a beautiful, emotional and intense story that broke my heart a few times on their behalf.

Elmwood is the best of the two worlds. Hockey and small town.
And we finally get the story of Jake, Elmwoods beloved own turned NHL star. It’s his turn to find love too. With his least expected person. The one man who drives him up the wall. Mason Trinksy. His rival.
They may have different personalities, but they both share the life of fame, and not being able to be seen fully for who they truly are. To be loved for all themselves.
It’s a fun story, rivals always are, but it’s also tender and sweet. And of course, we get to see our other Elmwood favourites along the way.
Forsaken by Sloane Kennedy
4.5
Sloane has incredible skill at writing dark stories that enthrall and hold you close. Flawed men caught up in worlds most wouldn’t understand, but they have love and loyalty that make you want to know them.
Mav and Eli are an incredible pairing. They both have secrets and parts of themselves they are scared to share, but they also can’t seem to stay away from each other.
I love how they draw each other out and find love and family.
I also highly recommend the audiobook. It’s top-notch. Sloane’s writing is perfect for audiobooks and with Michael Dean’s skill and talent, you are in for an engaging ride.
Kill Me Sweetly by Davidson King

Shep may be one of the big bad Saint Brothers, but he’s mush for JJ. He is so patient and caring for the man who clearly loves him back but struggles to say it. Running Saintly Sweets is the perfect new life for them. At least in between helping people out of tough places.
The way this family seems to find themselves mixed up with the underbelly of society is impressive, and I love how they work as a team, always having each other backs. And you learn the mettle of a person in the process, which is how Shep and JJ just know they are perfect for each other.
I love Davidson’s dark world and how they manage to bring tenderness and love to it all.
