The Christmas Knife by Jackie North

This was a really neat Christmas story, one I could envision watching on TV.

A knife, a family heirloom, gets stolen, something that was supposed to bridge a gap of regret and a family break for Clayton.

In the process, it brings him to Kyle, a sweet IT guy who was excited to be hosting his friends for Christmas.

Instead, a storm snows them in together for Christmas. The perfect host and the perfect guest. ;)

They are pretty cute together, and their romance is full of Christmas magic.

An emotional journey for Rylan and Jamie.

Rylan has lost a lot in his life and so he keeps himself buttoned up and in control. Until Jamie that is, who comes along to teach him how to live and find joy.

It also touches on the toxicity that can abound in sports, but provides how hope for it too.

This story also introduces us to a team of characters who will no doubt bring great stories to come.

I’m not gonna lie - the tentacle sexy times are especially fun. But not the only good thing.

Two bffs reunited for Christmas. Two friends everything, except for the things they aren’t telling. But thankfully over the course of their New York Christmas those secrets are finally spoken, and our artists make their mark on more than the art world.

They are both very loveable, thoughtful, and caring. And it’s a joy to tag along for their adventure in the Big Apple. I also really want a sexy Krampus painting!

Damn boys, get it together!

This story is full of tension more than the rest because there is more inner turmoil to go with it.

Seong-Jae is having to go things alone while Malcolm recovers from his injuries under the care of his ex-wife (gah!).  And neither of them benefit from the distance.

But there is always a case to provide them a bit of a distraction, otherwise, they would drive themselves insane with too much time to think.

Here’s hoping they start to get their heads out of their butts soon!

The best meet cute is always when one insults the other!!

They are both charming men who are stubbornly holding to an ideology (for very good reasons) that would benefit from a bit of a different lens. And thankfully they help each other expand their world view.

Their story is full of fun moments, tender support, lots of music and a mutual love for a very sweet young girl.

I enjoyed this one immensely.

Every Missing Moment: Rebel Kings MC: The Outtakes - Volume One by Garrett Leigh

If you’ve read the Rebel Kings MC series than you have to read/listen to this.  It’s snippets of different characters that provide insight into our beloved MC family, a chance to be reminded how much we love them, and why.  There are fun moments and sweet moments that prove their bond to their romantic partners and their friends/family.

My favourite is Alexei’s visit to his cousin's boyfriend. It’s an embodiment of how much I adore our Russian and how much he loves even if it’s not shown in a ‘normal’ way. He’s such a fantastic character.

I highly recommend the audiobook version. Narrator Dan Calley is perfection in his ability to bring to life our men and woman.

Adele and Kash have a seriously beautiful and touching story.  I mean they are idiots - pining for 20 years without telling each other, making themselves miserable in the process, but even still, it’s everything you could want from a story, especially an EM Lindsey story.

A few teary moments, a lot of laughs (Gage, Lucas, and Rex all steal my heart) and a whole lot of love.

Kash has been dealt a blow, but he has Adele to turn to, even if it takes him a while to really lean on him. What better way to find your way forward in a new life, than with your other half there to hold you up (sometimes literally)?

Adele never learned how to live for himself. Instead living for his son and holding on to his secret love for his best friend. It’s time he got the family he deserves.

A truly wonderful story that has my full heart.

Edge of Control by M. Walker

Do you like your men to have some questionable morals? Like to wonder how they could possibly find a happy ending when an investigator falls in love with the very killer he’s chasing?

M. Walker keeps us on edge almost to the end while also making us fall in love with both of them and desperately trying to figure out how they could possibly make it all work.

Theo is an especially dark serial killer - but you understand him all the same. You should want to hate him…

Jace is a lovely guy, though a little lost. Searching for his new path in life after some devastating losses and struggling with some mental health issues. Finding love helps heal some hurts, while also bringing its own complications.

Thankfully these two find a way to have a future together and I believe it will be a happy one (and hopefully murder free!).

Nothing like a wedding to bring Aron and Paul back together.  Not gonna lie though, despite liking Paul I wanted him to grovel more!

Their pandemic hook-up ended with both men running as far from London as possible. But neither can refuse the call of Mrs W. & the Professors wedding. And she’s got a long list to keep them busy, and together.

I’m glad they found their way back together. It was the easiest of paths. Lots of hurt feelings and emotional struggles. But they make a great team.

We also get lots of Mrs. Wimpole who has truly won my heart over the series.

A collection of wonderful short stories with some wonderfully diverse pairings that will make swoon and fan yourself.

Some fake dating, some daddy’s, and some sweet men finding love.

I enjoyed them all but I think Elliot and Noah are my favourites. Age gap, different worlds, but both equally strong personalities, they have to work for it a bit, but it’s definitely worth it in the end. They are definitely a strong match and you can’t help but cheer when it all works out.

Read them all at once or sprinkle them amongst other books.
