I Want to Die but I Still Want to Eat Tteokbokki by Baek Se-hee

I ended up listening to the second book. I don't recommend this book for those that are going through the kinds of things she is.
The disordered eating and the diet camp was a hard listen. I understand one would want structure in a day, but workring out for that many hours on end? For almost a month? Then ultimately never being satisfied. Then talks about an appetite suppressant...a lot to unpack there.
So, even though it feels odd to rate, there it is.

It was alright. She has another book with a continuation on these sessions, but I'm not sure if I'll give that a listen.

Yet another great read. I am close to finishing the Twilight Saga and I definitely want to rewatch all the movies again. This book was a filler book adding the answers as to where Victoria was and how the events after unfolded. Extra details in here that weren't in the movie. Looking forward to the next book!

I pushed myself to finish this book. The MCs really got together super quick and didn't seem to work through their traumas that were mentioned. It was okay.

A wonderful book from start to finish. You really got to see how the characters really felt. You get to see both sides and how they're feeling about themselves, in their relationship, and their upbringing. I was hooked to this story and didn't want it to end. It's beautiful to read how much they truly love and care about one another. They both took the risk to better understand one another and to mend their relationship. The heartfelt notes and gestures to one another even if they are upset warmed my heart. This is my first book I've read by Hannah and I can't wait to read more of her books! I ordered the rest and they should be here this week!

Another situation like the others I DNF'd. I might return to this book at a late date.

I will try and get back to this at another date, for right now, it remains as a DNF. I felt like I wasn't paying that much attention when reading. I wasn't ready to take on another book as I was reading another one on my physical TBR.

Truly not what I was expecting. I often go into books blind and this surprised me for sure. Right now, I am not sure this is the read for me. Maybe I will pick this up again at another date, but it stays as a DNF.
