I loved hearing about Drew's story and where she came from and how she became to be the woman a lot of us love. She is truly inspiring and someone I look up to as a POC and a woman. She is truly one-of-a-kind and someone that will continue to change the world.

What a book. I have always wanted to read this book as soon as I heard it was released and I never had the chance until recently. It was what I listened to during my commutes to and from my classes and it was heavy. I wouldn't recommend it to you if you can be triggered by the themes of this book. I listened to her narrate this and there were moments I had to take a pause and really sit with my emotions about this. It was really something. From what we thought was sunshine and rainbows with these shows from our childhood, can be traumatic memories for the actors and they are in this case and for many others. I hope she knows how strong she is and how well loved by many she is.

It was a great and quick read! I have been wanting to read more books from this series and it was awesome. I enjoyed all the colors and the overall story. It makes me wish I was more involved with school plays.

I would say there's a mix with how this book goes. I would say it is both character and plot driven. The plot of how the story plays is interesting and really reels you in with wanting to continue reading it, but there is explicit sexual content. How explicit is gets shocked me, but I kind of knew what I was getting into when I read an excerpt online and I was interested in knowing how the rest of the book goes. I think for some of the character's stories I wish there was a little more about them and to a degree I felt rushed getting through their parts as it goes into a sex scene. In any case, I might read the other books in the series.

I read this book a few years ago and enjoyed it. Then she became one of my favorite authors. It's like Groundhog Day. That's how I would describe it, but obviously with the other characters.

I remember reading this book back in elementary school and wanted to reread the entire series! I absolutely loved this book. It was a quick read, the images were wonderfully done, and the thought processes of Raina are definitely similar thoughts I too had when I was younger. It was great to see her development into a person she was proud of and got into her interests a lot more.
Her "friends" were so mean to her until she finally had enough. Which at that age is hard to end up doing because one would be afraid to let go of the only people they know. I am happy for her and how she find a really great group of new friends who share similar interests with her.

This book is definitely character driven. I read this last year, but the story is still somewhat in my memory. Any of my reviews should be taken with a grain of salt as I am not that analytical when it comes to any books. Overall, I did enjoy it. The spicy scenes were really intense so if that's not your thing I do not recommend this book! It was nice to see the characters progress and it got me wanting to read the other stories! I have the two other books in the series and have yet to start the newest one that came out this summer.
