Haunting. Beautiful. Hard to read the abuse from the victim’s perspective who doesn’t believe it’s abuse. This book will stick with me forever.

Really enjoyed how sweet this book was, even though all the topics are incredibly dark.

Tugs at your heart in the saddest ways. Felt wrapped up quickly at the end though, did not feel like a big climax.

I had high hopes based off of the cover and how often I was seeing this displayed at book shops, but it lacked everything for me. I did not find the story engaging or the way it was written that enjoyable. That being said, this author was not bad just because she didn’t grasp my attention. I seem to be the minority in my rating.

Weird and interesting take on vampires as a whole (mortality, powers, heritage, etc). Could not get over the fact the main character was a child that was using her abilities to make older men and women sleep with her.

How can a book contain so much pain? Such a realistic novel of 4 sisters. The epilogue had me sobbing.
