Slow read for the most part. Excited to see the second book come out. 

I will say, the romance was unexpected for me and I wasn’t really that excited for it. I do like how mild it is in the storyline though. It doesn’t take away from the characters and their personalities.

I loved the main plot twist, but didn’t like the two more plot twists after. I felt like that took away the shock personally. Everything else about the book I enjoyed!

Fast murder mystery with a good plot twist in my opinion. Everything else and how the story progressed was a bit predictable though.

2.5 rounded up. Very YA but that’s not the issue, the issue is the way this story was trying to be realistic but had so many plot holes and nothing about taking in that much money and that many companies to run makes sense. No one was even notifying her, she just kept finding out what she owned. And her security was not high or good lol. If this wasn’t a YA my review would be lower, but because it’s for younger people I’ll give it some grace.
