The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins

Great world-building and social commentary. Very interesting insight into the evolution of the hunger games and Snow's psyche. I found the ending too rushed and "convenient" as Snow's evolution into villainy and how things ended with Lucy Grey does not seem organic.

Suddenly You by Lisa Kleypas

The lack of consent in this book and Jack's toxic possessiveness was a big turnoff especially since the steamy scenes were otherwise well written.
