This is such a great Superman story. Love the period piece concept as well as the artwork. Looks childish but its such a good sweet story. Everyone should give this a shot

You have to read this if you need a new non superhero comic. The author just knows how to write characters well and his art is visceral and eye catching. You'll regret not reading this.

Mark Millar writes better, in my opinion, when he isn't writing edgy depressing stories. His  light, adventurous stories work better for me. Huck is one of them. There is only one volume. The story is solid, the art is great, and the main character is a lovable guy.

Honestly better than expected. There is a lot of meta commentary on superheros and the evolution of comics since the 90s. Its a dark comedy with a mature story. Give it a shot.

As much as I find Mark Millar to be an over the top writer and not always the best, this was a wildly impressive crossover comic. He merged all his characters into one world and made it work. I don't know all the characters but he made me interested to know them.  I had a lot of fun reading it. So I recommend it

This was a fun, imaginative, and developed story. Robert Kirkman is pretty good with telling action stories outside the typical comic book realm. I think there was some plot issues but it doesn't ruin the overall experience.
