I loved this book! I'm a sucker for romance, and Rhys Larsen is for sure my type (kinda rough around the edges, sorta grumpy, with a heart of gold and eyes only for His person) and Bridget is my kind of girl (proper and well-spoken, good in the public eye, but sassy and opinionated behind closed doors). The slow burn honestly paid off in my opinion and the story itself included the thrill of "will we get caught" and tugged at my heartstrings in just the right way. I'll always love a HEA, and while the story doesn't end the way the characters expected from the beginning, it ended beautifully and exactly how I feel it should have.
