Tropes: Dual POV, groveling, forced proximity, sunshine MC, Disney adult, set in an amusement park, billionaire, sick trope.
I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. The setting was amazing and I’m not even into Disney parks. I loved Zarah as a main character she never let anyone get her down.

I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I’m not typically a fan of single mom stories, I have no good reason why I have just never found one to enjoy. Once again, this book was recommended from TikTok and once again the recommendation was spot on.
Tropes: Enemies to lovers, big oil lawyer, environmental engineer, forced proximity, novella, women in STEM, Demi rep
Most times I don’t enjoy novellas because I don’t get enough time with the characters but the story had everything I could want. Ali Hazelwood is on a fast track to bring my favorite author.
Tropes: Friends to lovers, for music lovers, roommates, slow burn, reformed playboy, forced proximity, friends to lovers, music lovers, roommates, slow burn, forced proximity, reformed playboy
While this book didn’t live up to my love for It Happened One Summer that is no fault of it’s own. I just had a harder time connecting to Hannah and her love of music which is a focal point of the novel. Nonetheless I thoroughly enjoyed being back in Westport and the romance was adorable. I am for sure going to pick up anything Tessa Bailey puts out!!
Tropes: Grumpy x sunshine, Schitt’s creek vibes, enemies to lovers, bougie socialite, sexy fisherman, opposites attract
I was blown away by this book. This book was literally making me laugh out loud, in my bed, by myself. It couldn’t have been more of what I wanted if it tried, that’s how perfect it was. It was a very atmospheric summer book that is perfect to pack for vacation! This has made Tessa Bailey become an auto buy author. I have owned Fix Her Up since it came out in 2019, the only reason I didn’t pick it up sooner was because of the whole clown thing. That being said I will be reading that book very soon no that I know how good the writing is.
Tropes: Enemies to lovers, slow burn, guy falls first, vacation, workplace romance, fake dating, he takes care of her when she is sick, grumpy x sunshine
I picked this book up because I have seen it all over TikTok and I was not let down. I consumed this book in less than a day. It was a fun summer romance read and perfect if you are looking for a vacation read! I was slightly hung up on how little of the book takes place in Spain, that’s when it was really atmospheric.
