A decent book, I enjoyed it better than Meet Me at the Lake. Forbidden love, friendship, and finding yourself. 

I don't feel like we got to know the couple enough to be invested in them. It felt like we missed the initial romatic/emotional connection, and we were just told that Lucy couldn't stop thinking about him. It felt more like lust than anything.

I enjoyed the friendship parts and felt that storyline was more developed than the romance or Lucy's growth.

I just needed more.

I did enjoy the incorporation of Anne of Green Gables.
