Clearly a story very close to Naudus’s heart. Her family and religion were so enraging, but the love story between Valerie and Riley was really lovely.

I love anything vaguely Pride and Prejudice related and this was no exception. Elle is adorable and Darcy is a great starchy heroine. I really loved Brendan as a side character and can’t wait to read his book.

Second book in the series did not disappoint! I loved Callum and Juniper, their banter was so fun and the spice was excellent. Loved that we got a bit of a tour around Skye as well.

An excellent primer on asexuality. Chen interviews people from across the ace spectrum and presents a really compelling and informative read.

One of my top reads so far this year. Jasper’s writing style reminds me a lot of Talia Hibbert and I was smitten from go. Zach is so sweet and awkward and really going through it, and I loved how Mali was there for him and took care of him. They were just so freaking adorable together.

A really lovely fake-dating romance with delightful side characters.

I really liked Matthew and Daisy and how much they genuinely enjoyed each other pretty early on. The climax was exciting and felt like the right way to bring everything to a head. My only quibble was how all the men are described as progressives but also at the beginning want to keep the railways privatised. Absolutely not sirs, this is a pro-nationalisation household.

I’m not opposed to third act breakups but whenever I can’t see how it’s coming I get nervous, because it usually means that it’s going to be out of left field and something that could be totally avoidable, and yep, that’s exactly what happens here.
