Didn't like some of the writing but really it's a great book and I'm being a bit picky

The Book of Lost Things Illustrated Edition by John Connolly
Did not finish book. Stopped at 66%.

Picked this up on reccomendation by an online friend. Unfortunately I found it very boring, and didn't care much about the characters, even though the start was really strong.
Also gets so damn heavy-handed with the lessons it's trying to get across.
