Took me a bit to lock into the writing style of the book. For some reason, the dialogue wasn't flowing for more at first, but I ended up really enjoying it!

I hated the MMC for the first chunk of this book and almost DNF'ed but then he told her to hold onto the headboard and my feminism and critical thinking skills went out the window.

I needed like 200 less pages of this book. I honestly got so bored.

I listened to this book honestly only because Kristen DiMercurio is the narrator, but I was hooked pretty immediately. I loved this book (even with literally zero spice) and felt so seen and understood as I listened to Ali be a parent to kids who are so close in age to my own. It was like a sigh of relief to hear about how very average my life is.

I don't often read books that are not just smutty romance, but I do like to make sure I read books from diverse authors. There is a side story of romantic relationships, but that isn't the focus here. I honestly, loved this book and the way it so quickly made me feel immersed in the story and the characters. I've discovered that we thankfully get more from this character and I will be reading the follow up to this book!

Whew, that is basically the perfect spicy christmas novella. And, I do mean SPICY.

This series is fascinating to me. Its really great for explaining and teaching BDSM in an accessible and yet fun and flirty way. The ending of this one felt a bit forced but I'll still come back for more.

I keep reading these books and this is number 7, so you'd think I actually love them but it feels more like FOMO?
