it was good, great even, probably the best non fiction work I've ever read - I just don't think non fiction is my genre. what complicated it more so too is my inability to relate both to Green's anxieties and the state of the world he described. there is no more lockdown where I live. just recently masks have been unmandated from aeroplanes (a decision I wholeheartedly resent, but I digress) and there are talks of removing covid isolation rules all together. a strang world we live in today, green's book offered me some escape from it. so it was good, but fairly doomed from the start. with this in mind the book performed beautifully.

meh. definetly very instagram poet-y. some good things but not mind blowing by any means. more of an uncomplicated and mind numbing experience than anything.
