i really enjoyed this???? didn’t have super high expectations going into it - i’m here for some smutty monster romance - but i left feeling satisfied !! no big drama, no big stressors, good communication and variance in the sex scenes were all fabulous and i had a great time

I read this book for the disability and link representation and that was the only reason I finished it. This was hard to get through. I got the ick when the first time Frankie and Jay meet up, there’s descriptions of how he is aware of feeling hard for her already. Based on that, I was at least hopefully for some good sex scenes out of it, but those scenes were lacking for me to be honest.
The stars are for the accessible rep because I love love love it and having that shown in a genre I don’t often see it in. Big props for that.

a fabulous quick read, loved reading a book w neopronouns as well! and the way Jillian and Lyle communicate and encourage each other to be open about sexual and nonsexual topics however they are comfortable, I just loved that representation as well - NOT TO MENTION THE AROALLO REP??? love love love seeing rep of someone being aromantic but not asexual and this not being seen as a negative or damaging thing<33333
