This book was an impressive sequel to such an action packed start. Whilst I feel as though having such a fast pace start to the trilogy let this book down. This book was very slow up until the 70% mark. However, the vibes, THE VIBES! Absolutely incredible. The world building and politics in this book kept me hooked. The Wicked King really builds upon the political system laid out in The Cruel Prince which I really enjoyed. Carden is absolutely hilarious, I love his sense of humour, I also really love Vivienne.
In the second half this book really gives you whiplash, so much happens. So much drama and betrayal which I absolutely loved. I cant wait to get into ‘The Queen of Nothing’

Firstly, thank you to @sunnybabepr for a copy of this arc! This stunning retelling of Robin Hood follows our main female character Rylee. After years of no contact with her older sister Holly, Holly reaches out the Rylee in a cry for help as her partner Jeremy has been murdered. Rylee uproots her life and heads to the co-ordinates her sister sent her and ends up in the town of Eden. Eden is full of secrets and all the people seem to have something against her. Life seems to become easier when she meets Colton until all of Edens secrets are exposed.

This book was absolutely insane! I’ve never read much mystery so this was a perfect balance of romance and mystery to release myself into the genre. The side characters are fully fleshed out and each have their own story’s and baggage. I also loved reading about a female main character who is into computer science, it was really nice to read. Finally, a moment for Colton Archer THE book boyfriend. This book truly ended on a cliffhanger so the second book will be on my TBR.

Serena’s party life in New York is treating her well until Serena’s life gets flipped on its head.
Her parents tell her that she needs to settle down and that in 6 months she’ll be marrying a bachelor of their picking.
To escape from her reality she goes to Underwood Farm to help her best friend Olivia and her fiancée Landon plan their wedding which is also in 6 months time.
Underwood Farm is kept by the 3 friends Cam, Landon and Bennett. Bennett also happens to be a guy Serena almost had s*x with in a bar once who is also there to greet Serena when she arrives. This book is part of the Underwood Farm series but can be read as a standalone.
I absolutely loved this book, I adored Lily the most. Her and Bennett’s relationship was so cute! Will definitely be reading the rest of the series and more by the author.
