Really pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this book. A truly wonderful story of a cat saving a family after a great tragedy.

I’m a little conflicted about my rating for this one, it was 5 stars till the end which just felt so rushed and out of nowhere.
I really enjoyed the dual storyline with the notes and comments from “a friend” but felt the ending of this also fell a little flat.
I wish there was a little more of a build up to figuring out who done it.
It was really frustrating to go from Cain did it then the quick jump to Marigold and the jk it was Whit, we really needed a little more investigation before we made the leap. Also Freddie’s blind refusal to accept the possibility of someone she’s know like 2 weeks is a killer is just so upsetting

Started a little slow and then got very chaotic very quickly. It was hard to put down after that, while somethings that happened were predictable there were still twists that caught me by surprise.
Oliver was way to aggressive and overdone, it’s bad when you really wish a character would be the one to get killed.

The beginning was so slow and I almost gave up but then I got into the historical aspect. Then things get crazy real fast and the book is over. I wish the ending had a little more to it, more closure. Also not really the thriller I was expecting it to be but somehow scarier because it’s based on a very real problem.

I was hooked through this whole book. The story was so compelling and spine chilling, there were so many twists. The ending was a bit open ended for my taste.
I don’t like not knowing if Josie was lying or not and felt like she deserved more of a punishment

I liked this much more than I was expecting. Audrey Rose is the kind of woman I like to think I would have been like in the 1800s, she’s a force to be reckoned with. Including so much of the real Jack the Ripper stories was really well done and made the whole thing more real. Really well done and kept me hooked the whole way.

I was really hoping for more based on the description but it fell a little flat. The concept is good but it was predictable and not that suspenseful or thrilling.

This was really cute, I kinda felt 16 again reading it but in a good way. It’s a cute love story but also has great friendships and family relationships. I kinda wish we got a little more of an epilogue to see how everyone was doing some time later.

Not the best of its kind I’ve read but definitely not the worst. I did figure out the bad guy pretty quick but the story was still worth reading and I really felt for Jack, in the end I cared more about her closure and finding peace after losing her husband.

There are too many things happening that nothing is happening. 3 plots are trying to happen at the same time and it just made everything move so slowly. Only 1 of those plots was even remotely interesting but was just handled so poorly. The 2nd ended with so little fanfare that it was pointless. And the 3rd just wasted probably 60 pages of the book for no good reason.

If I didn’t need an “X” book for a reading challenge I would have given up after 100 pages.
