Gosh, I started reading this book wanting to shake some sense into Bruno.. But I'm sure when I was 9 years old someone would have wanted to do the same. However nearing the end of the book I was about to ball my eyes out and the reality of the Second world War hit me like a flood of rage.
Even though I'm still sitting here wondering what happened to Pavel the waitor who is actually a doctor.
I loved the journey that John Boyne took me on, looking at it through a innocent 9 year Olds eyes, not knowing much about the world and anything in it.
