I binge read this series and now my life feels empty. Also can I adopt Nate, please and thank you.
Why, okay, why?!?! No reader should have to see their favourite character die TWICE. This book was an emotional rollercoaster and my head is still spinning.
Truly brilliant.
Truly brilliant.
Reread #?? I lost count.
Will I never not get emotional rereading this series finale?! NOPE.

It is no secret that I absolutely ADORE Bloodlines and everything to do with Vampire Academy world. This was not my first (re)read of The Ruby Circle (nor my second, third, fourth,... Don't judge. I love this series.), yet some details of the story still get me every damn time! Surprise revelations of family bonds (I am aware of the connection between two certain characters - no spoilers! - yet am always shocked when I reach that page! It's just too funny and incredulous.), Eddie's dubious movie taste, the whole bloody epilogue. This last chapter always warms my heart. *wipes away a tear. Or ten.*
Don't even get me started on the imperfectly perfect Adrian Ivashkov. As much as I love every single character from VA and Bloodlines (and believe me I do. Why do you think I'm making literally no progress with my TBR? 'Cause I'm rereading VA and Bloodlines all the time!), Adrian is just special. And his character development is one of the best I've ever seen. I won't go into specifics so as not to spoil anything in this rather spoiler-free review, but just, wow. Is Adrian from The Ruby Circle even the same guy that Rose met in that winter wonderland in Frostbite?! (Spoiler alert: He is. And he's awesome.)
So yeah, I have a lot of feelings and I could talk about The Ruby Circle and Bloodlines in general FOREVER, but let's end this review with one of my favourite quotes from TRC:
"And whatever happens, you won’t have to face it alone. I’ll help you.”
