Bloom is a graphic novel that tell the story of Ari and his family bakery. Ari has just recently graduated from high school and he is ready to move on to bigger and better things, mainly to the big city with his friends and band. Unfortunately, Ari’s family’s bakery has been hit with hard times and needs Ari’s help to keep the bakery shop up and running. Ari promises to help his parents friend a great replacement for him: meet Hector. Hector is the opposite of Ari. He has recently moved to town to fix up his deceased grandmother’s house, is in college, and absolutely loves to bake. As Hector and Ari’s friendship grows, can Ari realize that maybe what he has in front of him is really all he needs after all?
.
I truly loved this graphic novel. I have been on a bit of graphic novel kick. I loved Ari and Hector especially watching their relationship “bloom”! They are absolutely adorable!

First, I have to tell you, I am a Lisa Jewell fan. I have read her books in the past and I have enjoyed that. That is the first reason why I wanted to get my hands of a copy of her new book as soon as I could! The next reason was because after reading the synopsis of the book, I was already sucked in! The book sounded absolutely AMAZING! I can assure you, it did NOT disappoint!
.
This story is told in three different timelines and three different point of views. These three characters are: Tallulah (the missing girl), Kim (her mother), and Sophie (the new head teacher’s girlfriend). Tallulah and Kim’s story is set in 2017, the year Tallulah went missing, and Sophie’s story is set 2 years later in 2019. At this point in time, the missing persons case for Tallulah has gone cold until Sophie stumbles upon the “Dig Here” sign nailed to a tree in the woods near her new home, which blows the case wide open.
.
This story has so many twists in turns. It will leave you guessing and it promises for some shocking revelations! I was on the edge of my seat and desperate to know what happens next. I truly loved the perspective of all three characters. I found them all relatable, down to earth women.
.
This has been my favorite Lisa Jewell book to date! I highly recommend you pick this one up as soon as you can! @onceuponabookclubbox will be having it in their adult box this coming month and promises to have some amazing gifts!! Use my code, OneToFiftyTwo10, to save 10% on your box!

The Singles Table is the highly anticipated third novel of the Marriage series by Sara Desai. As soon as Sara announced on her Instagram that ARC copies were available on Netgalley to be reviewed, I immediately ran to Netgalley and submitted my request. I was elated when I saw that I was lucky enough to be chosen.
.
In the third book, we meet Zara Patel, a non traditional lawyer by day/ matchmaker by night. Zara is a free spirited, wild child and is born to be at the singles table for life. She is determined to never open her heart to anyone again, instead enjoying the “no strings attached” relationships. Instead she likes to match up for single table mates; giving those crazy Aunties a run for their money. But when she meets Jay Dayal, serious, stay focused attitude has her head spinning. She has to find a perfect match for Jay, but is anyone good enough for him?
.
I absolutely loved this one! I loved the chemistry between Zara and Jay. I felt that their characters fit perfectly. I also felt that I could relate at times to both characters. The relationship also didn’t feel rushed which sometimes happens in a romance novel. This one ended realistically. Overall, it was exactly what I needed to read and would highly recommended to any and all romance lovers.

Finlay Donovan is back again! #thankgod She is truly the character we all did not know how much we needed in our lives. Finlay is just so relatable and hilariously funny. She has, of course, teamed back up with her live in nanny, Vera, to save her ex husband? Yep. I said it, save her ex husband... from the Russian Mom. Sure, just your average day in the park for this "soccer mom".
There is also the fantastic love triangle that really solidifies in this book between Finlay, sexy cop Nick, and super cute bartender/lawyer in training Julian. Personally I am #teamjulian 😍
If you read the first book... you definitely won't want to miss this one. If you haven't read the first book, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! Go! Read that book! Then read this one, duh!

Vivienne (Viv) Jones had her heartbroken 9 years ago by handsome, rake Rhys Penhallow. But Rhys isn’t just any guy from Wales, who is attending the local college for summer, he is a descendent of town founder: Gryffud Penhallow. What else is a nineteen year old witch to do when her heart has been shatter? Curse the jerk, of course! Things seem funny until Rhys shows back up in town nine years later, and Viv realizes that her curse not only worked, but she cursed her whole beloved town! Now Viv must work with her Ex to save him and her town from the fate she dealt them.
.
This was such a cute, fun spooky story! It was a perfect way to start the spooky season. It had everything: witches, magic, ghosts! I loved it! I hope @ladyhawkins makes this one a series because I would love to hear more from Viv and Rhys. I also loved the secondary characters: Elaine, Gywn, and Sir Purrcival the cat. This definitely the purrfect October read!
