I actually really enjoyed this book for the most part but I found out about how the author faked her Native heritage (be it by mistake or not) and now just feel icky. I do feel like the themes of the book were handled with care.

The writing felt a little stunted and sometimes jumped around too much but the story was good. I also wanted more from the ghosts - their story felt very shallow.
