As a person who cries at absolutely everything, not a single tear was wasted on this. 
It was hyped put so much, but I didn't enjoy.
I also didn't care for the writing style and endless descriptions of the main character.

I liked the book although the villains felt a bit one dimensional, there is no clear motive for their actions and seem to be "pure evil" because it drives the plot further.
I also feel like the book could be at least 70 pages shorter but overall I liked it and will probably buy the rest of the series.
