This was short but sweet. I would love to read longer works by Lucy King, this was very well written.

I don’t know how to review this without being cliche. It’s beautiful to able to see yourself in other people’s experiences, and know that you’re not alone.

Talia Hibbert’s comedic style and ability to portray different experiences in an authentic and thoughtful way is unrivaled.

I enjoyed the characters but I feel like this book was just missing a lot parts.

I wasn’t a fan of the amnesia plot at all. While I guess it gives the effect of of keeping the audience just as in the dark as Finn, it means we spend the entire book just being told the characters’ history and never getting to really see anything about Finn for ourselves. Maybe if the accident happened  later so we could see how things were with his friends and Naomi before, the change would have been interesting but  it was kind of boring and ultimately inconsequential.

I love a fake dating plot so I really wanted to love this movie but it unfortunately didn’t hit all the notes I was hoping it would.

It might just be because the book runs a little too long and we have like three rounds of miscommunication and separation back to back near the end. It was still great and I loved Ryan and Indy as characters, and their chemistry was fantastic.

If you’re looking for a sweet small-town romance with a lot of heart, K.A. Tucker always delivers.  Tyler and Marie were so cute and I think their push and pull was really well done, I only wish we got to spend more time with them at the end as they figured out what their future together would look like. We spent the entire book laying out all the issues, that Marie in particular faces, and everything was just quickly tied up in the final chapter.

Yeah, this got me. Honestly, I’m not sure I would have handled the situation with Evie’s dad as well as she did. Following her through that  was my favourite part of this book, and I loved seeing Evie and X support each other through their individual journeys. The rest of the characters a lot of fun as well.

I really do love a good single dad romance.
