Well written, though a bit lengthy. Important topic of suicide and the lives left behind, but honestly, it's a pretty depressing read.
Love the narration, not so much the book itself. I enjoyed the first one much more.
Stephen King is always a 5 star read for me. I've loved following the character Holly. I completed this one as an audiobook and the narration was fantastic. Loved it.
I almost didn't finish. Unpopular opinion but I found this book so disappointing after all the hype. And the end would not wrap itself up. It just droned on and on forever and I felt like kept circling back to things it had already mentioned. So annoying.
Whiskey in a Teacup: What Growing Up in the South Taught Me About Life, Love, and Baking Biscuits
Meh - kind of a palette cleanser of a book. If you're into instructions on how to catch a frog or make perfect southern ice tea, this is for you. I wasn't sure I got anything from this book. Luckily it was a quick one.
I struggled so hard to follow her train of thought. Giving credit to her mental health disorders and years of drug and alcohol abuse, but my goodness, this was like listening to an hours long run-on sentence by someone's cooky aunt. Like being cornered by an old bitty at a wedding who sees the young folks having fun and wants to tell you how they used to rage in their youth. You want so badly for the conversation to end, but you don't want to seem rude.
I love her. I love her film work. But this book should have stopped at her editor's desk.

A fun audiobook read by the authors. Sounded more like a podcast episode and less like a book. Their relationship seems fun and their banter together is always a giggle.
